"Crush! What's Love Got to Do With It?" is an art exhibit that investigates contemporary modern love and the process of aging. The word "crush" has double meaning. You can have a "crush" on someone, that is you are infatuated, or you can be "crushed" by the outcome that they were not who you thought they were, or they just don't like you.

Isis will invite you inside her concept gallery, to view her symbolic paintings that reflect her experiences dating as a single woman over 50, where we go beyond unconditional love.

Isis Rodriguez is an American born artist from San Francisco California. She received a B.F.A from the University of Kansas 1988 in Painting and attended the San Francisco Art Institute to work toward her M.F.A., where she studied sex positive feminism and art for social responsibility.

Known for her controversial works of masked women in lingerie and military attire, Isis is a pioneer of "nepantlic art" who has spanned over 20 years, creating contemporary mythology of modern issues that face us today.

Isis has exhibited internationally, “Insurrectas y Estridentes en México a 100 años de Simone de Beauvoir” La Festival Internacional
